A Night of Stories & Song, with
Lawyers Guns & Money, Molly McGinn and Sam Frazier
Live at The Creative Center, Friday, June 20, 2014
Part of the fun of doing what we do is that sometimes we get to put artists together that you might not expect or get to see in the same show otherwise. Such was the case in May when we featured The Rough & Tumble and Nikki Talley and Jason Sharp sharing the stage together trading off songs for our "tribe". Coming up on June 20th, we will have another chance to mix it up as we are graced with the musical talents of Molly McGinn, Sam Frazier and Lawyers Guns & Money. Sam and Molly will play a short set, followed by Lawyers Guns & Money, each showing their unique style and flare. Later in the evening Sam and Molly will join the band for some collaborative musical magic. The night will be all about song writers and the stories behind the songs. Special thanks to V-Muse Productions for collaborating on this event with us!

Terry & Janice VunCannon / Lawyers Guns & Money:
The husband & wife songwriting team of Terry & Janice VunCannon started writing together in the summer of 2010, working on a batch of songs for Terry's band “Lawyers Guns & Money”. The goal was to write a song every month for a CD project for the band to be recorded the next year. After the first two months, they had 5 songs, and never looked back. Janice Hamby VunCannon has always enjoyed writing poetry and short stories in her youth. She got away from writing for years, concentrating on her business & family. When Terry mentioned to her that they should work together on some songs, she said yes. The two of them decided to write together, and became a true songwriting team. The songs will be performed by Lawyers Guns & Money: Terry VunCannon on guitar and vocals, Steve Headen on bass and vocals and Mike Thomas on percussion and vocals.
